A Boy And His Sister…

Our little Gray man and Baby Bird came back to us this week.  They keep us pretty busy.  We adjusted our school schedule to accommodate the two days a week that we have them for now.  Momma will add another day as soon as she is done training, and then we’ll adjust our schedule again.  Morgan loves to follow the kids around snapping pictures, and she gets some pretty good ones.  I LOVE to edit them, and we got some fun shots this week.  Some were a bit blurry, but they’re still cool looking…

Baby Bird is a little sad when Momma leaves, but if she can get a hug from big brother, or just go and stand by him, she is ok.  This was blurry, but still darling.

Several times a day, I feel a little tug on my pant leg.  I look down and see this little darling.  She’s 10 months old, and is already walking like crazy.  And right now she wants me, ALL THE TIME

We sure love these little people! We look forward to sharing more pictures as the weather gets nice, and we get these little ones out in the sunshine!  Most of these pictures were taken on an iPhone, so they’re not great quality.  But we had fun taking them, and playing around with fun effects.  I love that cinemascope effect with the dark bars on the top and bottom of the pictures.  Makes a darling picture!

Where have I been and what have I been doing?  Enjoying summer! I’ve been hanging out with my kids, vacationing in our favorite beach town, playing for fun, magical weddings, looking at curriculum for fall, getting to know our newest little charge, and just loving life.

We were able to vacation with both sides of my husband’s family this summer…meaning with his brother and kids, and then a few weeks later with his ex-wife and the kids again.  She is like a sister to me, and I love being able to be with her.  Here are some highlights from our week with Andy’s brother…

Both vacation weeks were really wonderful…

I babysit a little boy named Grayson.  In May, his momma gave him a new baby sister, and her name is Sparrow Lily-Ruth.  Today was the first day we got to watch her, and of course I could not resist taking some pictures of her darlingness… Morgan especially LOVED having her here, and is a NATURAL at holding babies! :)
